We're happy to announce the first upgrade to Fitnio, version 1.0.1. This version reduces the time to connect to GPS, as well as provides a bar to indicate how good the GPS connection is.
We also added support for total ascent, the sum of all elevation gains. For example, going up a 100 foot hill gives an elevation gain of 100 feet. Going up and down it twice still gives an elevation gain of only 100 feet, because elevation gain is simply the distance between the highest and lowest point of your run or ride. Total ascent in this case would be 200 feet.
Enjoy - and please don't hesitate to email us about it at feedback@fitnio.com
